Après the way it should be
The moment the lifts stop spinning, Aspen and Snowmass shift gears. Base-area decks fill with music, boots come off, and the plans start getting ambitious. The problem is that half the group wants to stay put, half wants to head into town, and somebody left their shoes in the condo. A party bus fixes all of that.
Our chauffeur meets you at an agreed permitted loading point for your chosen mountain — Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk or Snowmass — and the party moves with you. Plan a stopped change opportunity or a lodging stop to swap ski boots for shoes, crank the playlist over WiFi, and roll to the next stop together.
A classic après route
Every group is different, but a popular plan looks like this: pickup at the mountain after the last run, a quick stop at your lodging to change, then into downtown Aspen for drinks and dinner, and a late-night run back to Snowmass or down valley. Because the chauffeur waits for the length of your booking, you're never stranded waiting for a ride at 1 a.m. in the cold.
Staying in Snowmass? About 20 minutes separates Snowmass Village from Aspen in good conditions, which makes it easy to bounce between the two. Down-valley groups from Basalt (about 30 minutes) and Carbondale (about 40 minutes) use the bus so nobody has to drive Highway 82 after a big day.
- Base-area pickups at all four mountains
- Change stops at your hotel, condo or rental
- Downtown Aspen dinner and nightlife drop-offs
- Late returns to Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale and beyond
Pick your après ride
For 20 to 50 people, a party bus with LED lighting, a sound system and wraparound seating keeps the energy high. Smaller groups love our Sprinter party vans: the black 14-passenger and the white 16-passenger deliver the same lights-and-music experience with an easier footprint for crowded base areas.
Hourly ranges vary by vehicle and season: party buses and motor coaches run about $250–$400 per hour and Sprinter limo vans about $200–$350 per hour. Text us your plans and we'll send a FREE custom estimate. Your quoted rate is locked in when you book.
Ride responsibly
Après is about celebrating a great day on the mountain, and the best part of a chauffeured ride is that nobody in your group has to drive. Our chauffeurs follow Colorado law and vehicle rules, and we ask every group to respect the vehicle and each other. Guests must follow all applicable laws regarding alcohol.
The change stop is the hinge of the evening
Build the evening backward from dinner, not forward from the last chair. Skiers need time to return rentals, locate bags and move off the mountain. If dinner is downtown and the group stays in Snowmass, a detour to the condo adds a second valley movement as well as the time spent changing. Keep the plan simple: mountain pickup, lodging, one dinner area, then return. Trying to visit several distant venues can leave more time in transit than at the places you came to enjoy.
Tell your lodging host that a group vehicle is coming and ask which entrance is usable after snow. Gather inside until the chauffeur confirms the agreed legal loading spot. Snowbanks may narrow the curb, and ski boots are awkward on ice; carry normal shoes and keep bags contained. Loading and unloading should happen while stopped, not while guests balance in a moving aisle. Choose one contact to message the driver rather than having everyone request a different pickup.
Dinner first, optional stops second
Make restaurant reservations independently and check the venue's age requirements and admission arrangements. A transport reservation does not reserve a table or guarantee entry to a crowded bar. If a group member would rather head home early, decide whether that is part of the vehicle's route or a separate arrangement before the evening starts. A final return to Carbondale is around forty minutes from Aspen in good conditions, so it should not be treated like an extra downtown block.
Party buses suit roughly twenty to fifty guests; fourteen- or sixteen-passenger party Sprinters suit smaller crews when equipment storage is confirmed. Match the vehicle to the evening's guest count, not the ski club's total membership. Party buses and motor coaches range from $250–$400 per hour and Sprinter limo vans from $200–$350. Date, vehicle and reserved hours affect the estimate. The rate locks at booking, gratuity is separate, and responsible behavior and applicable alcohol laws still apply.
A pickup that everyone can find
Before leaving the mountain, ask guests to save the lodging address and the evening meeting instructions. A dead phone should not leave someone guessing between two restaurant entrances. Pick a fallback organizer and agree what happens if a guest changes plans. Keep the last return time visible so an optional stop can be skipped without disturbing the whole group.
