Down valley, close to everything
Basalt and Carbondale are where a lot of the Roaring Fork Valley actually lives. Basalt sits at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Fryingpan Rivers, with the Willits area nearby, and is about 30 minutes from Aspen in good conditions. Carbondale, beneath Mount Sopris, is about 40 minutes from Aspen and has a creative small-town scene of its own.
When down-valley groups head to Aspen for dinner, a show or a big celebration, the drive home on Highway 82 at night is the part nobody looks forward to. That's where we come in.
What down-valley groups book
We drive birthday parties, anniversary dinners, bachelor and bachelorette nights, proms and homecomings, weddings at ranches and riverside venues, and group ski days up valley. Local businesses also use our Sprinters and motor coaches for holiday parties and team outings.
- Basalt and Carbondale to Aspen nights out
- Ski shuttles to Snowmass, Buttermilk, Highlands and Aspen Mountain
- Wedding shuttles for down-valley ranch venues
- Prom and homecoming (6-hour minimum)

Choose which down-valley neighborhood you mean
Historic Basalt, Willits and Carbondale should not be combined into one vague pickup called down valley. Give the exact lodging or restaurant entrance and list any intermediate collection in order. A loop through several neighborhoods can add substantial loading time even if the drive from Aspen to Basalt is about thirty minutes or to Carbondale about forty in good conditions. If everybody can meet at one suitable sheltered location, it may simplify the evening without requiring a larger vehicle.
For a ranch or private-home event, ask the host about gates, gravel, snow clearance and turning room. Roads outside the town centers may be less straightforward than the main Highway 82 corridor. The assigned vehicle and current conditions determine access; never assume a coach fits because cars have parked there before. Agree on a safe alternative meeting point if needed, and include the walking time or any venue-operated final movement in the plan.
A local night or an up-valley destination
Keep the outing tied to the group's actual interests. A Carbondale dinner, arts event or private celebration may not need an Aspen leg at all. A Basalt gathering can use its own dinner and lodging cluster, while an Aspen concert or ski day warrants the longer transfer. Reserve tickets and tables separately and pass current event arrival instructions to the chauffeur. For a ski trip, count ski cases and boot bags as well as guests and verify the chosen storage layout.
Fourteen- and sixteen-passenger party Sprinters serve smaller social groups; executive nine- and thirteen-passenger layouts are options for equipment-heavy trips; buses carry roughly twenty to fifty depending on the vehicle. Prom and homecoming have six-hour minimums, as do high-season Friday–Sunday bookings, while most other bookings have four. Vehicle, date, route and retained hours affect the initial quote, and gratuity is not included. A final return to several different addresses should be agreed before leaving, not added when tired guests board after midnight. Stay seated while moving, keep warm layers accessible and accept changes if road or driveway conditions become unsafe.
Give each stop a passenger count
When guests join in both Basalt and Carbondale, write the count for each collection and the order of returns. A full bus leaving the first stop cannot add more people later just because the second stop is nearby. For school events, nominate an adult contact and confirm the complete photo, dinner and dance schedule with organizers. For a local dinner, verify the restaurant entrance and a suitable return loading point. Share a backup organizer and keep the plan available offline. If a guest decides to return independently, tell the trip contact so the chauffeur is not waiting for somebody no longer on the roster. A clear count at each movement is particularly helpful when the group is spread over several homes or neighborhoods.
